Our new version of the Screen Cage Adapter is now produced in black ABS on a CNC router by one of the top acrylic fabrication shops in the country! They also include predrilled screw holes on each end for installation flexibility.
Beware of inferior copies of this product! They don't have the screw holes...and cost $1 more.
The SCA should be mounted straddling the frame of the cage to distribute the weight of the nozzle and force of the water to the structural elements of the cage. It can also be used directly on the screen if it's in good shape.

Securing the adapter to the cage is entirely up to you. Current users have found that it's really not necessary, but you can either secure it with screws or silicone it to the cage. (You should relocate your animals while the silicone cures.) Our forthcoming ChamCages will feature predrilled holes in the frames for use with the ScreenAdapters.
